FIRST, LET'S GET YOU PREPPED...
- Shave the day before, never the day of -- or it can turn out streaky or spotty!
THE DAY BEFORE:
- If you need a manicure/pedicure, make sure this is done at least the day before your spray appointment
The day of your appointment:
- Shower at least 4 hours prior to your appointment and with lukewarm water (not hot). If you can skip the shower the day of your appointment thats even better! But if you need to shower, should be at least 4 hours before and only use soap on armpits and private parts. (NO DOVE SOAP PRODUCTS!)
- Remove all jewelry
- No moisturizers, deodorants, sunscreens, makeup or oils of any kind on your skin
- Wear something loose fitting -- No wiggling into leggings, tights, skinny jeans or any form-fitting clothes (you should even try not to put a bra back on). For footwear, wear any kind of slide-on -- no socks.
- We will provide disposable panties, however, if you prefer to bring your own undergarments or bathing suit to be worn during your spray tan, that is totally fine!
Topless is OK, bottoms MUST be worn.
NOW THAT YOU HAVE A PERFECT GLOW, FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES TO MAKE IT LAST!

Use alcohol free lotions to keep your spray tan hydrated.
Stay away from products that exfoliate -- this includes facial scrubs, waxing, band-aids, nail polish remover, etc.
Stay away from retinols, anything with alcohol or witch hazel, scrubs, masks, strips, microdermabrasion, or any products containing benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, alpha hydrocy acids, beta hydroxy acids, malic or lactic acids.

Working out is fine, but its best to wait at least two days before exercising, as heavy sweating removes the color sooner. If workouts can be avoided, they should be.
Chlorine in the pool or salt in the ocean will break down your tan much quicker! Try to plan your appointment around pool parties or beach days!
Leaving the solution on your skin longer than your tan artist suggests will NOT make it darker or last longer! In fact, it can turn brassy -- oompa loompa style! Gross.
RAPID TAN - rinse (just water - no soap) after 2 to 4 hours, depending on level of darkness desired.
TRADITIONAL TAN - wash off in shower 8-10 hours after your appointment
